Hand knit plush turtle neck cowl with artistic fringe, boho, winter scarf
Be Styish. Be Warm. Wear one of a kind! This style has been very popular at in-person art fairs in 2019.
Black and varying shades of vibrant purple with pops or aqua in the fringe. Plush, stylish and cozy warm! ** This is a warm piece with a tall neck - which can be pulled right up over your chin in cold windy temperatures! (After all I am from Wisconsin.)
Spice up your fall and winter wardrobe - in style! If you're not in to the long scarves and longer style pieces, but still want the unique fashion style of a shaggy, over-textured piece - this is it!
No wool in the base knit, however there is a merino silk blend in the fringe. Fringe too long? Just trim it to your desired length!
The knit is refined and double layer, long enough to keep your neck snugly warm and pull it up for added face warmth, and so soft! A blend of plush soft acrylics plus refined soft nylon-acrylic blends, microfiber, chenille, and finished multi-textural glorious fiber fringe.
Separate the layers for a bunched look, wear tall, fold over and more! There is no wool in the turtleneck, however the fringie includes a mix of synthetics and merino, silk, and more.
Reversible! This piece is an easy simple, no-fuss styling alternative to a scarf and still has wearability options!
Don't let the simple design fool you! This piece can be work a variety of ways! I like the front folded down slightly and the back up higher for shorter hairstyles or when hair is worn up off the neck - for 'drama'. When it's bitter cold (or is you have a long neck like I do - hence the scarf-making) wear it all high full round the front and back. Let the front even snuggle your chin to keep the wind off. For chilly days that aren't quite as bitter / dreadfully cold - fold it down all the way around. Play with this - you'll love how easy it is!!
